Working for a private equity investment firm headquartered in London to deliver a mixed use sttlemement
The scheme is looking to deliver approximately 5,000 new homes on a currently disused airfield. Two primary schools, a secondary school and 20 hectares of employment land will be provided alongside the new homes, creating a new community.
The team also has a strong aspiration to deliver this new community as a carbon neutral town, in alignment with the UK’s Net Zero objectives. Additionally, the team are currently looking at providing Industrial/R&D/Commercial space within the site which isn’t currently available in the geographical area.
The plan has been identified as a Strategic Growth Area by officers and continues to be included within the development Plan, most recently going though it’s Reg-19 consultation.
